The Johnson County Museum is a non-profit, educational institution whose purpose is to collect, preserve, interpret and promote the material culture of the region. The Johnson County Historical Society, with a professional staff, manages a museum facility and genealogy collection. Visitors are invited to take a self-guided tour of the museum's permanent galleries that include Native American, Pioneer, Civil War, Victorian, Military, and a 1950's display.
The museum also hosts a rotating featured exhibit that often includes local artists and artifacts from the museum's vast collection. Scheduled tours are available for larger groups.

Tue-Fri: 9 AM to 4 PM
Sat: 10 AM to 3 PM
